Background of receiving the award: "Prism: Contemporary Australian Art" was held as part of the 50th Anniversary exhibition of Ishibashi Foundation. It was a good opportunity to introduce Australian culture with complex, various, fluid identities through 73 works of 35 Australian contemporary artists on the year of Australia-Japan Exchange.
